Miss Anna Kauten. the eldest daughter
of Peter Kauten, living about six
miles north-west of this city, died last
Sunday morning after an illness covering
a long period of time. Some years
ago Mr. Kauten's wife died leaving a
large family, and since that time this
daughter has shared in the care of her
younger brothers and sisters. Her
death takes away a faithful and valued
member, and the sympathy of all who
know of the case is extended to the
bereaved ones.
