Jill Lynette Koch

Jill Koch, 35, of Eldorado, Iowa, died April 30, 2001 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Minn.

Funeral services were held May 3 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in Eldorado with Pastor Dennis Hugdahl officiating.

Richard Vagts served as organist.

Pallbearers were Charles Koch, Gary Martin, Michael Weidermann (sic), Rodney Koch, Jerry Conner and Rick Daniels.

Honorary pallbearers were Debbie Widermann (sic), Janelle Jensen, Jenny Gehling, Robin Robinson and Jo Stockdale.

Jill Lynette Koch was born July 10, 1965 in West Union to Gerald and Shirley (Wiedermann)(sic) Koch.

She was baptized July 5, 1965 at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in Eldorado and was confirmed there March 30, 1980.

Jill Koch graduated from North Fayette High School in 1983. She attended Hamilton College in Mason City for one year and worked for Home Health Care for three years. The past 11 years, she had worked in the jewelry department of Wal-Mart in Decorah.

She lived with her father in Eldorado, and became ill in July of 1999, undergoing surgery for cancer in November 1999.

Jill Koch enjoyed crafts, crocheting, collecting, shopping and computers.

Survivors include her father, Gerald Koch of Eldorado; a bother, Jeff and Betty Koch of Ossian; a niece, Jessica and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jill Lynette Koch was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Koch and her grandparents.
