Marty J. "Tramp" Johnson, 52, of West Union, Iowa, died Wednesday, May 26, 2010, at Allen Hospital, Waterloo, of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident near West Union.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

A family-directed memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, June 5, at Deerwood Park in Evansdale.

Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel in Waterloo is assisting the family.

Marty J. Johnson was born July 10, 1957, in Detroit, Mich., to Robert and Joanne (Napolitano) Johnson.

He worked as a maintenance supervisor at AgriProcessors in Postville.

Marty's parents preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Dawn, of West Union; three daughters, Micki Johnson of Waterloo, Angela Johnson of Cedar Falls, and Stephanie Johnson; two sons, Martin Johnson Jr. and Joseph Johnson; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Tom (Rita) Johnson of Manhattan, Kan., and Bobbie Johnson of Texas; and a sister, Cynthia (Steve) Dudin of Houston, Texas.
