Funeral services for Lynn W. Trewin, 94, of Waucoma, Iowa, were held Saturday, May 22, at Becker-Milnes Funeral Chapel in Sumner. The Rev. Galen Smith officiated.

Interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Fredericksburg. Casket bearers were Jake Trewin, Harlan Trewin, Jim Trewin, Vic DeSloover, Daryl Weidemann, Roger DeSloover and Gary Tubbs.

Becker-Milnes Funeral Home, Sumner, was in charge of arrangements.

Lynn's death from age-related causes occurred Tuesday, May 18, 2010, at Mercy Medical Center in New Hampton.

Lynn W. Trewin, son of Jesse and Martha (Zipse) Trewin, was born Oct. 3, 1915, in Chickasaw County.

He was baptized in the Methodist faith and attended country school in the Fredericksburg area.

Lynn farmed his entire life in the Waucoma area and assisted many area farmers.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister.

Lynn is survived by a brother, Merle Trewin of Waucoma; and three nephews, Gerald "Jake" Trewin of Waucoma, Harlan E. Trewin of Hackett, Ark., and James C. Trewin of Bend, Ore.
