OELWEIN - Elsie Weatherbee, 84,
206 4th Ave. N.W., Oelwein, died
Thursday afternoon, Feb. 6, at
University of Iowa Hospital, in Iowa
City, following a short illness.
Funeral services will be at the Hintz-
Geiienfeld Chapel on Monday, Feb. 10,
at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Phyllis
Wolkenhauer officiating. Burial will be
in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 1p.m. Sunday,
Feb. 9, at the Hintz-Geilenfeld Funeral
Home and before the sevices Monday.
Survivors include two sons: Evert of
Oelwein; and James, Wichita, Kan.;
eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren;
and one brother, Alfred
Barth, Santa Fe, N.M.. She was
preceded in death by her husband,
William, who died in 1965; and two
brothers.
She was born Feb. 4, 1908 in Sumner,
the daughter of Emil and Anna Hendricks
Barth. Mrs. Weatherbee had
been employed at City Launderers and
Dry cleaners, Oelwein, for 10 years
