Funeral services for Agnes Larson were held Tuesday, Feb. 2, 11 a.m. in the East Clermont Lutheran Church. The Rev. Kim Thacker officiated. Schutte Funeral Service, Postville, was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in the East Clermont Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Agnes Lillian Larson, daughter of Emil and Laura (Larson) Holt, was born May 25, 1899 in Clayton county, Iowa. She died Saturday, January 30, 1988 in Palmer Memorial Hospital, West Union, Iowa.
She was baptized June 11, 1899 by Pastor Jacob Tanner at the East Clermont Lutheran Church and confirmed there on October 17, 1915 by Pastor C. C. Hjortholm. She was a member of the East Clermont Lutheran church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Emanuel, who died August 8, 1959, one brother, Ernest Holt, and three sisters, Ella (Mrs. John Sampson), Elma (Mrs. Alfred Madsen), and Margaret (Mrs. Paul Cooley).
Surviving are her sons, Donald and his wife, Pearl, West Union; 2 granddaughters, Donaline (Mrs. John Mitts), Delhi and Joyce (Mrs. Alan Schmitz), Stout, and 3 great-grandchildren.
Casket bearers: Quinton Olson, LaVern Larson, Aines Olson, Oliver Larson, Roger Amundson, Eugene Thorson.
