Funeral services were held for Lloyd E. Larson, Laura, IL, October 14, 1987 at 2:00 p.m. at the Clermont Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Donald Loots officiated. Schutte Funeral Service of Postville was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in God's Acre Cemetery.

Lloyd Larson, son of Emil and Karina (Simesen) Larson, was born November 6, 1900 at Clermont.

On January 24, 1974 [1947???] he married Doris Learn at Elmwood, IL. They farmed in the rural Williamsfield area for 27 years until retiring and moving to Laura.

He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, and one sister.

He is survived by his wife, Doris, one son, LaVern of Toulon, IL, 2 sisters, Mabel Burrow, Postville, and Ethel Loftsgard, Cedar Rapids, and 2 grandsons.
