Sunday Services held for Harold A. Loyd

Funeral services were held for Harold A. Loyd, Sunday, April 5 in the Hintz Geilenfeld Funeral Home, Oelwein, with the Rev. Mark Riggins officiating. Burial was in the Pleasant Hills Cemetery, West Union.

Harold A. Loyd was born September 21, 1933, Oelwein, to Arthur and LaVon (O'Del) Loyd.

Loyd was married to Nila on September 21, 1969 in West Union. He was a retired truck driver for NEOWAFS, Inc.

Harold Al Loyd died Thursday, April 2, 1992 at home in Oran following a short illness.

Loyd was preceded in death by his father, Arthur and a brother, Louie.

Survivors include wife, Nila; two daughters, Mrs. Russel (Wanda) Kamp, Oelwein and Dawn Marie Loyd at home; two sons, Harold Jr., Fayette, Arthur at home; three step-children, Mrs. Byron (Nancy) Anderson, Garden City, Kansas, Ruth Ann Hanson, Tomah, WI, and Roger Williams, Tomah, WI; three brothers, Robert, Fayette, John, Salem, and Thomas, Hawkeye; two sisters, Ann Pagel, Decorah, Helen Bentley, Fayette; his mother LaVone, Fayette; and two grandsons.
