Services for Beulah Lubke were Saturday, Sept. 27 at 10:30 a.m. at the Clermont Funeral Chapel in Clermont. Rev. Richard Kretzschmar of St. Paul United Methodist Church of Elgin officiated. The Schutte Funeral Service of Postville was in charge of arrangements. Interment was in God's Acres Cemetery.

Casket bearers were Brian Skeen, Clarence Kittleson, Henry Follett, Laverne Hyde, Robert Sieleman and Donald Scott.

Beulah Elizabeth Lubke, daughter of Charles and Gertrude (Learn) Anderson, was born Jan. 22, 1896 at Clermont. She died Sept. 23 at Palmer Memorial Hospital, West Union.

She graduated from the Clermont School and taught in the rural schools in the area for a short time.

Oct. 18, 1916 she married Herman A. Lubke at Clermont. They owned and operated a General Store in Clermont for many years.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Phyllis (Mrs. Norbert) Baltes, Clermont and Lucille (Mrs. Jack) Bush, LaHabra, CA, 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Elgin.
