Glennie Belle Shippy Obituary.

Glennie Belle Shippy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Locy Shippy, born in Oran township, Nov. 6, 1893, died Dec. 31, 1908, aged 15 years, 1 month and 25 days. She left a father, sister, two brothers and numerous relatives to mourn her loss. Her mother died Nov. 6, 1900. She was called upon in childhood to take charge of the home and kept house for her father and two little brothers until the time of her death. She suffered a severe fall in childhood which caused spells of internal bleeding and finally resulted in death. Funeral services from the M. E. church at Fairbank were conducted by Elder L. E. Hills, of Marion, Iowa.
