A Funeral Mass was held for Sharon Langerman, Saturday, June 25 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Clermont. Rev. Paul Otting officiated. Schutte Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in St. Peter's Cemetery, Clermont.

Sharon Kay Langerman, daughter of James and Evelyn (Wolfe) Graff, was born September 3, 1940 at Oelwein, Iowa. She died Wednesday afternoon, June 22, 1988 at Palmer Memorial Hospital, West Union.

She graduated from Oelwein Community Schools and attended Upper Iowa University in Fayette. On July 21, 1962 she married Charles Langerman at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oelwein. The couple had 3 children.

Sharon lived in Postville for 4 years before moving to Clermont. She taught school in Postville for 1 year and operated a pre-school in her home for 8 years.

She is preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents. She is survived by her husband Charles, a daughter, Diane of Elgin, 2 sons, Michael of Ely, MN and Scott of Cedar Rapids, her parents, James and Evelyn Graff of Oelwein, 3 sisters, Janie Kitterman of Lake in the Hills, IL, Linda Heldt,of Estherville, IA, and Kathy Baty of Coggon, Iowa.

Sharon was a member of the Young Women's Club, the Business and Professional Women and also St. Peter's Rosary Society.
