Services Here Monday For Mrs. Cannon

Rev. E. J. O'Hagan will officiate at the funeral services for Mrs. Tom Cannon, 61, at 9:00 Monday morning at Sacred Heart church.

Mrs. Cannon died at McNamara's convalescent home this morning after a prolonged illness. A retired housewife, she had lived in the state all her life and had been a resident of Oelwein for 40 years.

The body will lie in state at the residence after 4:00 p.m. Saturday. Rosary will be said Sunday night at 8:00 p.m.

Mrs. Cannon, the former Alta Mae Simpson, was born the daughter of Frank and Elsie Miller Simpson Feb. 1, 1887.

Survivors include a son, James of Oelwein, three daughters, Helen of Rochester and Mrs. Earl McGarvey, Mason City and Mary Katherine of Oelwein. Two grandchildren also survive.

Interment will be in Woodlawn cemetery.
