Helen E. Yauslin

Funeral services for Helen E. Yauslin, 78, were held Wednesday, May 7, 1980 at 11 a.m. at West Clermont Lutheran Church in Clermont. The Reverend Allan J. ??oa officiated. Schutte Funeral Service of Postville was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in God's Acre Cemetery.

Helen E. Yauslin, daughter of Gilbert and Anna (Jacobson) Ostlie, was born June 21, 1901 in Clermont. She died May 4, 1980 at Lutheran Hospital, LaCrosse, Wis.

She was baptized and confirmed at the East Clermont Lutheran Church. May 14, 1919, she was married to Harry L. Yauslin. She was a member of the West Clermont Lutheran Church, the Nigeria Circle and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, three brothers: Henry, Lloyd and Archie; and three sisters: Alma (Mrs. Albert Anderson), Blanch (Mrs. William Wander), and Ella (Mrs. Gunder Nygaard).

She is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Wayne (Anna) Durscher of West Union and Mrs. William (Gladys) Nelson, Jr. of Clermont; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and three sisters: Mrs. Ray (Hazel) Reierson of Clermont, Mrs. Henry (Clara) Olson of Luana, and Mrs. Gerhard (Gladys) Halverson of Postville.
