Kathleen K. "Kathy" Anderson, 49, of Florence, Mont., died at her home on Monday, March 1, 2010.

A celebration of Kathy's life was held in Montana on Sunday, March 7.

A local memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 12, at West Union United Methodist Church.

Friends may call from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 11, at West Union United Methodist Church.

Burnham-Wood Funeral Home, West Union, is handling the local arrangements.

Kathleen Kay Anderson was born Dec. 9, 1960, in West Union, Iowa.

She was the daughter of Sharon Kay (Hilgerson) Anderson and Harlen and Margaret Anderson.

Kathy graduated from North High School, West Union, in 1979. While in high school, she was active in Future Farmers of American and was on the drill team.

In 1981, she married Mark Sauerbrei; the couple later divorced.

Kathy was a highly successful radio advertising sales executive, who enjoyed a 15-year career in the Missoula, Mont., radio market.

She was incredibly organized and truly cared about her clients. She had won numerous sales awards and accomplished great things in the radio and broadcast industry over the past 20 years.

Kathy enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening and landscaping. Her greatest love was being on the water in the summer sun.

She had an outgoing personality, and she loved and cared for everyone. She loved life and lived it to the fullest. Kathy loved Montana and everything about it.

She will be missed by many Missoula, Bitterroot and Flathead (Mont.) clients, and she will always be thought of as a responsible, kind, incredible person. Kathy will be missed by all who knew her and worked with her.

She is survived by her daughter, Mandy Kay Fadely of Fort Campbell, Ky.; JayMe Nordahl, her life partner, of Florence, Mont.; her mother, Sharon Kay Anderson, of West Union; her father and stepmother, Harlen and Margaret Anderson of West Union; her brother, Keith Anderson, and her sister, Kelli Lauer, both of West Union; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
