Oelwein—Charles R. Proctor,
68, at Mercy hospital here Thursday
afternoon from complications;
born at Fayette Jan. 29,
1883, son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel
Proctor; retired from farming in
1941 and moved to Oelwein,
where he was associated with his
son in the Proctor Transfer Co.;
leaves wife; two sons, LaVerne
Proctor, Cedar Rapids, and C. D.
Proctor, Oelwein; three grandchildren;
three sisters, Mrs.
Frank Wilder, Oelwein; Mrs.
Lucy Asby, Long Beach, Cal.,
and Mrs. Frank Kimpton, Hawkeye;
two brothers, Lyle Proctor,
Monark, Ark., and Henry Proctor,
Fayette; body at the Brant funeral
chapel pending arrangements.
