George Kuhns 1849-1917

George Kuhns was born in Wisconsin
February 14, 1849, and died October
11, 1917, at the age of 68 years, 7
months and 27 days.
He was united in marriage to Miss
Emma M. Brandt, and to this union
were born six children. He was preceded
in death by his wife and three
children.
There are left to mourn his departure
Mrs. J. B. Wetherbee and Edward
Kuhns of this city and Mrs. J. A.
Meyer of Corvallis, Oregon.
Mr. Kuhns will be greatly missed
by his friends, and children. His kindly
words, his sympathizing attentions
will linger in the memories of each,
for these things are staple among
that which goes to make human
happiness.
Funeral services were conducted on
Saturday afternoon, Oct. 13, by Rev.
E. H. Gillet of the Baptist church and
the remains were carefully laid to rest.
