ZIMMERMAN .--. Margaret M. Zimmerman was born in Clarion county, Pa., October 23, 1824, and died Sept. 11, 1891, aged 65 years, 10 months, and 18 days.

She was married to Rev. H. W. Zimmerman, deceased, Feb. 22, 1844. She was the mother of ten children, five dead and five living.

In early life she joined the M. E. church, of which she has ever been an earnest and faithful member. She was truly an help meet to her husband, and willingly shared with him in the sacrifices of early pioneer life, and entered largely into the work of helping, so far as home life is concerned, in the preaching of the gospel; especially in traveling all over this country and conducting funerals.

She was a kind and affectionate mother and her children rise up and call her blessed.

She was a generous and sympathetic neighbor. In her daily life she followed closely the teachings of the Savior.

The infirmities of the flesh have kept her from attending the sanctuary of the Lord very much of late years, but as often as she could she went and was intensely spiritual in her devotions.

During her last sickness she suffered much, but during it all her Savior was very precious. The funeral services were very largely attended at the Murphy U. B. church. The sermon was preached by her pastor, Rev. T. A. Miller, after which all that remained of Sister Zimmerman’s earthly home was consigned to the tomb by the side of her late husband.
