William Henry Schupbach, son of
Frederich and Elizabeth Schupbach
was born in Sardis, Ohio on Sept, 14,
1883. In 1886, he came to Elgin,
Iowa with his parents and family. At
the age of 21 he joined the Apostolic
Christian Church of which he has been
a member ever since. In 1907, he was
married to Anna Friederich. To this
union was born twelve children, one
of which preceded him in death in infancy
at the age of 8 months.
The children are: Reuben, Elizabeth,
Herman, Marguerite, Marie, Friederck,
William Jr, Albert Leigh, Orville
Glenne, Anna Mae, and Gordon.
Besides these he leaves to mourn
his untimely death, his wife, two sisters,
Lena of Elgin and Mrs. Albert
Friederich of Elgin and two brothers,
Albert of Elgin and Fred of Riverside,
California.
The funeral was held Friday afternoon
at the home and also at the Apostolic
Church at two o'clock, Edward
Grimm of LaGrange conducting the
services. Burial was made in the
Apostolic Cemetery.
