Funeral services will be held
11 a.m. Tuesday at Brant-Kerns
Funeral Home in Oelwein for
Mrs. Jewell Colas, 82. A resident
of the Lakeview Mobile Home
Court on Highway 150 south, she
died Saturday morning at Allen
Memorial Hospital in Waterloo.
The Rev. Harold Schlink will
officiate. Burial will be in
Woodlawn Cemetery, Oelwein.
She was retired and had
formerly worked at Eickenberry
Battery & Tire and Lagerstroms
Plumbing & Heating. Mrs. Colas
was a member of First Baptist
Church and the First Baptist
Church women's organizations.
Oelwein.
She is survived by one
daughter, Imogene Wyant,
Oelwein; a sister, Mrs'. Pearl
Simpson, Oelwein; a daughter-in-
law, Jean Wyant, Corpus
Christi, Texas; and two grandsons,
Jim Wyant, Corpus
Christi, Texas, and Keith Wyant
of Washington.
Preceding her in death were
her parents; her husband,
Angelo Colas, who died Sept. 4,
1964; and one son, Robert.
