Forrest Gordon Pollock

Forrest Gordon Pollock, son of Gordon and Arlene Schultz Pollock, was born at Postville on May 31, 1953. He was baptized on January 3, 1954. He was in the first grade of the Valley Community School at Elgin and a member of the Sunbeam Sunday School class at Illyria.

Becoming seriously ill on September 16, he was rushed to Worrall building of the Rochester Methodist Hospital where all attempts for his recovery ended with his passing on Monday, September 21, at 3:00 a.m. at the age of six years, three months and 20 days.

Left to mourn his passing are his parents; a sister Vali, a brother Scott; his paternal and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. T. Pollock of Elgin and Mr. and Mrs. L. Schultz of Postville; four aunts, two uncles and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, September 23, at the Illyria Church, with the Rev. Donald Caspers officiating. Burial was in the Illyria cemetery.
