Mrs. Agnes Taylor

Agnes Ida Woolsey was born near Auburn, IA., Sept. 12, 1876, and died at her home in Oelwein, Sunday evening, December 14. When she was 15 years old she went to Wisconsin to make her home with her sister. On October 13, 1897, she was married to Harry Wellington Whitbeck and they returned to Iowa to make their home. They had one son, Arlo. Mr. Whitbeck died on Jan. 23, 1900.

On March 2, 1901, she was married to Charles Lewis Taylor. Six children were born to this union. She is survived by the following: Mrs. Alma Etta Bloom and Arlo Whitbeck, Oelwein; Charles Taylor, Silas LeRoy Taylor, Long Beach Calif., and one grandson. And one sister and two brothers living in Wisconsin. Her husband and three daughters preceeded her in death.

Funeral services were conducted at the Hintz Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 17, by the Rev. James W. Marlin. The final resting place is Dunham Grove cemetery, Fayette county, Iowa.
