Elmer R. (Matt) Reiter, 60,
rural Oelwein, an Oelwein and
Fairbank area farmer, died
Wednesday morning at Veterans
Hospital in Iowa City.
Funeral services will be held 2
p.m. Saturday at St. John's
Lutheran church in Fairbank
with burial in the Fairbank
cemetery. Military rites will
also be conducted at graveside.
Friends may visit after 7 p.m.
today (Thursday) at Woods
Funeral Home in Fairbank
where a prayer service will be
held 8 p.m. Friday.
He is survived by his wife,
Evelyn; one son, Robert, at
home; three brothers, Henry
and LaVerne Reiter, both
of Fairbank, and Ernest Reiter,
Westgate; and two sisters, Mrs.
Bertha Haun, Oelwein, and Mrs.
Elsie Schneider, Readlyn.
