HAZLETON - Clara Sophia
Graf, 93, of Hazleton died
Saturday, Feb. 18 at the Bartels
Lutheran Home in Waverly.
A Hazleton resident since 1930,
she was a retired homemaker, a
member of Zion American
Lutheran Church in Oelwein and
the American Lutheran Church
Women.
Services are 1 p.m. Tuesday at
Zion. Rev. LaVerne Streich will
officiate Burial is at Floral
Hills Cemetery, Hazleton.
Friends may call any time
today (Monday) at the Brant-
Kerns-Jamison Funeral Home
and from noon until service time
Tuesday at the church.
Survivors are two daughters,
Mrs. lola Burco of Hazleton and
Mrs. Lyle (Adele) Esch of
Oelwein; two sons, Donald of
Oelwein and Meriin of Hazleton;
12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren
and two greatgreat- grandchildren; and two
sisters, Mrs. Julia Miehe of
Dubuque and Mrs. Alma Gantenbein of Maynard.
She was preceded in death by
her husband Elmer, who died in
1981, her parents, two granddaughters
and a sister.
Memorials may be given in
her name to Zion American
Lutheran Church or the Bartels
Lutheran Home in Waverly.
