OELWEIN — Irene E. Brickman, 75,
?30 4th Ave. N.E., Oelwein, died at
Mercy Hospital of Franciscan Sisters,
Oelwein, Monday afternoon, Oct. 18.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m.
Thursday, Oct. 21, at St. John's
Lutheran Church, Fairbank, with
burial in Floral Hills, rural Oelwein.
Visitation will be at the Woods
Funeral Home, Fairbank, after 2 p.m.
Wednesday, Oct. 20, and an hour before
the services at the church on Thursday.
There will be a prayer service at the
funeral home at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Survivors include her husband,
Richard, Oelwein; two sons: Gaylen
Fink, Chicago; and Laurance, Denver.;
one stepdaughter, Barbara Purdy,
Sioux Falls, S.D.; six grandchildren;
three step-grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren;
six step-greatgrandchildren;
two step-great-greatgrandchildren;
a sister, Margaret
Simms, Fort Dodge; and a brother,
Elmer Lenius, Waterloo.
She was preceded in death by her
first husband, Carl Fink, who died in
1976; and a sister, Lenora Lenius.
