James R. Flynn
(March 25, 1932 - November 12, 2008)

James R. Flynn, 76, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, November 12, at home.
He was born March 25, 1932 in Waucoma, son of Darrold “D.J.” and Ethel Barnes Flynn.

Mr. Flynn was a barber in Waterloo and was employed with Rath Packing Company for many years until his retirement.

Survivors include: a sister-in-law, Leona Flynn of Waterloo; three nieces., Mary (Allan Foster) Galligan of Topeka, Kansas, Teresa (Charles) Kamins of Napa, California and Kellie Mooneyham of Harrison, Arkansas; three nephews, Mike (Myrna) Galligan of Lead Hill, Arkansas, Dan (Susan) Galligan of Lafayette, Louisiana and John (Lori) Galligan of Fort Smith, Arkansas; and a special long time friend, Cecilia “Sam” Garris of Oelwein.

Preceded in death by: a brother, John “Jack” Flynn of Waterloo; and a sister,Patricia Galligan of Lead Hill, Arkansas.

Memorial Service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street with inurnment in St. Rose Cemetery, Waucoma
