He then farmed near the West Union area for a time, and in 1944 he purchased a farm near Westgate. It was here the family lived when ill health forced him to retire. They have made their home on South Frederick Ave. for the past three years. Mr. Fauser had not been in vigorous health for some time, but was taken with a heart attack this fall. After spending several weeks in bed at both his home and the hospital, he returned home again just one week before his death. He is survived by his wife, his five sons and four daughters, by a brother, Peter, of Fayette, and a half brother, Charles Hamrick of Battleground, Washington. There are 30 grandchildren and two great-grand children. Services were held at the Brant funeral chapel Sunday, Dec. 14, 1958 with Dr. M. B. Green of Grace Methodist church officiating.
