MAYNARD -- Nevalynn "June" Harrison, 93, of Maynard, died Wednesday, Oct. 1, at Maple Crest Manor, Fayette.

She born June 18, 1915, in Oelwein, daughter of Roy William and Minnie I. Eggert Hanna. She married Benton G. Harrison on Oct. 29, 1939, at Little Brown Church, Nashua. He died Nov. 24, 1990.

She graduated from Oelwein High School in 1932 and then worked for City Laundry until the time of her marriage. She farmed with her husband on the family Century Farm east of Maynard for many years.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

Survived by: a son, Jon Harrison of Maynard; a daughter, Barbara (Lee) Gripp of Webster City; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: a son, James; and a daughter-in-law, Wanda Harrison.

Services: 2:30 p.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church, with burial in Long Grove Cemetery, both in Maynard. Public visitation from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home, Maynard, and for an hour before services Saturday at the church.
