Ralph Willis Moulton, son of, Nelson and Catherine Moulton born February 5, 1877 on a farm near Westgate, Iowa. They later moved to Maynard where he attended school and in the year 1894 they moved to Oelwein, where he resided until his death.
On January 1?, 1901 he was united in marriage to Laura Mae Detrick. To this union two daughters
were born, Vivian and Gertrude.
He had long been a member of the M. E. Church.
Those left to mourn his loss are his faithful wife and daughters, Mrs. Charles Cooney of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Mrs. Louis Heldt of Oelwein, and five grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. Rhoby Perry, Forrest Grove, Oregon, Mrs. Jennie Kidder, Seaside, Oregon, and Mrs. Mae Day, Whittier,
California, and one brother, Clarence Moulton of Monte Bello, California. His parents and three
brothers preceded him in death.
Mr. Moulton was employed for years in the Gremmels meat market, and later operated the Park Store at Lake Oelwein. Up to the time of his last illness he had been employed by the Wilson Packing Company.
Funeral services for Mr Moulton were held this afternoon at 2:30 at the Hintz Funeral Home
with Rev. W. C. Cleworth of the M. E. Church at Hampton officiating.
Interment was in the Maynard cemetery.—Con.
