OELWEIN-Funeral services for Henrietta Wetherbee will be 11 a.m.
Tuesday, Jan. 4, at the Hintz-Geilenfeld Funeral Home, Oelwein, with
the Rev. Robert Dagit officiating Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial
Gardens, north of Hazleton.
Mrs. Wetherbee, 84, died Friday afternoon, Dec. 31,1999, at Grandview
HealthCare Center, Oelwein.
She was born Oct. 25, 1915, in Oelwein, the daughter of Arthur and
Ruby Green. She graduated from Oelwein High School. On June 22,
1935 she married Leslie Wetherbee in Oelwein. Mrs. Wetherbee was a
homemaker and lifelong Oelwein resident.
Survivors include three daughters, Judy (David) Becker of Oelwein,
Wendy (Chuck) Strzesak of Peyton, Colo., and Debbie (Dan) Nolin of
Colorado Springs, Colo.; two sisters, Ethel Sims of Hazleton,and Evelyn
Linstrum Indianapolis, Ind.; nine grandchildren; and nine greatgrandchildren:
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leslie; one
son, James; one brother, Howard Green; and one sister, Helen.
