Funeral services will be held
Saturday morning for James Richard
Wetherbee of 234 Fifth Avenue, S. W.,
Oelwein.
Wetherbee, 34, died in a two vehicle
accident near Marshalltown Tuesday
morning.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at
the First Baptist Church in Oelwein with Rev.
John Propert officiating. Burial will be in the
Woodlawn cemetery.
Wetherbee, a life-long resident of the Oelwein
community, graduated from Oelwein Community
High School in 1965. He was an Osha
inspector for the State of Iowa.
Surviving are his wife, Kathie, Oelwein; two
daughters Shelly and Kristi Wetherbee, both
of Oelwein; his mother Henrietta Wetherbee of
Oelwein; and three sisters, Mrs. Dave (Judy)
Becker of Oelwein, Wendy Isaacs of Colorado
Springs, Colo. and Mrs. Duane (Debra) Combs
of Tempe, Arizona.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leslie
"Pete" Wetherbee.
