Charles Dietz, 227 Eighth Avenue
SW., died at 3:30 o'clock this
morning at Mercy Hospital. He
was 54 years of age and a resident
of Oelwein for nineteen
years, being employed as machinist
helper at the C. G. W. Roundhouse.
He is survived by his wife and
the following children. Ray of
Crosby, North Dakota; Mrs. Wilbur
Priest, Waterloo: Mrs. Mabel
Duggan, Elgin: Walter Thompkins,
Waterloo: brothers Frank of Mot-
ley, Minnesota; Harry of Oelwein:
Turley of Fairbank.
Funeral services will be held
Tuesday afternoon at 2'00 o'clock
from the Brant Funeral Home and
burial will be at Fairbank. The
body will lie in state until hour of
funeral services at his home
