Mrs. Lola D. Connor, daughter of Louis J. and Mary Dietz, was
born at Oelwein, Fayette county, Iowa on March 30, 1882, and
she died at Independence, October 30, 1936.
She was united in marriage to Earl Coonrad and to this union
was born on daughter, Marie. She later was married to Earl
Connor of Floyd, Iowa who preceded her in death.
She leaves to mourn her death, one daughter, Mrs. Elmer
Scofield of Charles City; and four brothers, J. T. Dietz, Fairbank;
C. L. Dietz, Oelwein; Harry Dietz, Littleton and Frank Dietz,
Motley, Minnesota.
Funeral services were held at Fairbank, Sunday afternoon, Nov.
1 in the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Dietz, conducted by Rev.
M. W. McKinley, pastor of the Methodist church here. Casket
bearers were C. W. Haun, E. A. Moore, Aylmer Bush, George
Betts and Lester Wilson and John Heck. Burial was made in the
Fairbank cemetery.
