Funeral services for Miss Lois
Hillman, aged 44 were held at the
Presbyterian church Monday afternoon.
The Rev. Chas. Rabenberg,
pastor, officiating.
Burial was made in the family
lot at Otsego cemetery. The pall
bearers were Lee Hillman, Edwin
Hillman, C. Tennley, Arthur Hillman,
Lyle Stimson and Edward Martin.
Miss Hillman died here Saturday
afternoon following a long illness
with an incurable malady. She was
born on a farm near Hazleton and
was formerly a teacher in Buchanan
County schools, later becoming a nurse.
Surviving are her father, Abner
Hillman and four brothers, Emerson,
Dwight and Bruce, Hazleton and Samuel
of Oelwein. She was an active worker
in church affairs. Her mother and
brother, Lynton, preceded her in death.
Music was furnished by Mabel, Marion,
and Sara Campbell.
