O. N. Hillman received the sad intelligence
by telegram last Friday morning
of the death of his mother, Mrs. L. O.
Hillman, which occured in South Dakota at
her daughter, Maggie Kutchem's. The
remains arrived here Saturday morning.
The funeral services were held
at the church at 11 o'clock Sunday
morning conducted by Rev. Leonard,
of Hazleton. She was laid away beside
her husband in the Otsego cemetery.
We can surely say of her as says the
scripture "Blessed are they that die in
the Lord."

Allen Hillman and Edison Kitchen,
of S. Dak. and Miss Libbie Culver, of
St. Ansgar. came last Saturday to attend
the funeral services of Mrs. E. C.
Hiilman, which were held in the church
