OELWEIN - Funeral services for Theresa Ann Fink will be 11 a.m.,
Wednesday, Oct. 23, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Oelwein, with the
Rev. Frederick Fangmann officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn
Cemetery, Oelwein.
Friends may call from 4 until 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Jamison-Schmitz
Funeral Home, where there will be a parish rosary at 7:30.
Mrs. Fink, 60, died at her home Friday evening, Oct. 18,1996, after
a long illness.
She was born Oct. 7,1936, in Oelwein, the daughter of Matthew and
Elizabeth (Burghart) Kisner. On March 29, 1958, she married Joseph.
Janarius Fink in Caledonia, Minn. Mrs. Fink was a cook at Mercy
Hospital in Oelwein and at the Oelwein Health Care Center for many
years, retiring in 1980. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic
Church, where she was on the Bingo Committee for many years.
Survivors include two daughters, Rose (John) Hamilton of Oelwein,
and Jeanna (Tracy) Crosby of Bridgeport, Conn.; one son, Joe Fink, Jr.
(Dory) of Oelwein; two stepsons, David Weseman of El Portal, Calif.,
and Mike Fink of Reno, Nev.; one grandson; two step-grandchildren;
three brothers, Matthew (Lora) Kisner and Joe (Sara) Kisner, both of
Oelwein, and Larry (Viola) Kisner of Racine, Wis.; five sisters, Mildred
Selonke of Chicago, 111., Marie (Clark) Satterleeand Katherine (Richard)
Gaffney both of Independence, Betty Egan of Oelwein, and Ann (Cleo)
Hyde of Spokane, Wash.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph on
Aug. 4,1987; two sons, James and Lewis; two brothers, John and Wes
Kisner; and one sister, Helen Roth.
A memorial fund has been established in her name.
