Tuesday funeral services will be
conducted for a retired Oelwein
farmer, William H.Brownell, 80.
The Rev. Richard Emery will, officiate
at the 3:30 p.m. service at
Hintz funeral home.

Mr. Brownell died at Mercy hospital
at 11 p.m. Saturday.

He is survived by his wife Alice,
and one son, Paul, both of Oelwein;
one granddaughter and one
grandson, two great-granddaughters
and one sister, Mrs. C. W. (Nettie)
Preston of Long Beach, Calif.

Mr. Brownell, a resident of Delwein
for 30 years, resided at 610 East Charles.
He was born in Fayette county
Feb. 4, 1880, the son of Louis W.
and Vina Housden Brownell.
Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery.
