Chester Brownell (1918-1923)

The Stanley people were saddened
Thursday evening to hear of the serious
illness of Chester Brownell who
at the time was with his parents Mr.
and Mrs. Burr Brownell visiting relives
in Platteville, Wisconsin. Mr.
and Mrs. Geo. Stewart, Chester's
grandparents and Charles Brownell
his uncle departed Friday morning to
be with them. Word was sent back
Friday afternoon he was no better and
Saturday evening the sad news was
received of his passing away at five
o'clock in the afternoon. They returned
to Stanley Sunday and funeral services
will be held Tuesday afternoon
in the Union church at 2 o'clock. Mr.
and Mrs. Brownell and relatives have
he sincere sympathy of their Stanley
friends in their deep sorrow.
