PHOENIX, Ariz. — George M.
Brownell, 76, of 2831 No. 25th
Place, Phoenix, Ariz., died
Sunday morning in Phoenix. He
was a former resident of the
Stanley and Oelwein areas,
where was engaged in farming.
Services are at 10 a.m.
Wednesday in Phoenix, with
burial also in Phoenix. The
Mercer Mortury, Phoenix,
was in charge of funeral
arrangements.
Survivors include Emma
Weger of Strawberry Point; four
sons, Vern Brownell of Marion,
Charles Brownell of Dixon, and
Lyle and John Brownell, both of
Phoenix; one daughter,
Georgia, of Phoenix; and six
grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by
his parents, Charles and Julia
Brownell, and two grandchildren.
