HOTH.....................

Eugene W. Hoth of 2835 McGowan Boulevard, Marion, died at his home, Monday morning. Hoth, a native of Oelwein, had been a resident of Marion the past eight years. He was 51.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Murdock Chapel in Marion with the Rev. Nick Longworth officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Wyuka Cemetery, at Nebraska City, Nebraska. Friends may call at the Murdoch Chapel after 4 p,m. Tuesday.

Hoth was born in Oelwein and served in the United States Air Force during the Korean and Vietnam conflicts. He retired from the service in 1972 after 22 years.

He was employeed by the Iowa National Insurance Company for eight years. Hoth was a member of the First United Methodist Church; Marion Post NO. 298 of the American Legion; the VFW; and the Elks Club.
Surviving are his wife, Doris Hoth of Marion; his mother, Carrie Hoth of Oelwein; two daughters, Pamela Hoth, of Marion and Donna Jeans Helm of Fitzgerald, Georgia; a son David Hoth of Fitzgerald, Georgia; a brother Larry Hoth of Oelwein; and two sisters, Lois Boies of Oelwein and Doris Carolan of Salida, Colorado.

A memorial fund has been established.

Eugene W. Hoth, 51, of 2835 McGowan Boulevard, Marion, a resident of Marion the past eight years, died at his home Monday morning, March 26, 1984 following a sudden illness.

He was born the son of William and Carrie Barnes Hoth on September 30, 1938 at Oelwein, Iowa. On February 5, 1961 at Omaha, Nebraska he was married to Doris Glittinger. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean and Vietnam conflicts; and retired in 1972 after twenty-two years of service. He has been employed by the Iowa National Insurance Company eight years. Mr. Hoth was a member of the First United Methodist Church; Marion Post 198, American Legion, the V.F.W. and the Elks Club.

Surviving are his wife, his mother Carrie Hoth of Oelwein, two daughters, Pamela Hoth of Marion and Donna Jean Helm of Fitzgerald, Georgia, a son David Hoth of Fitzgeralds, Georgia, a brother Larry Hoth of Oelwein, Iowa and two sisters, Lois Boies of Oelwein, Iowa and Doris Carolan of Salida, Coloradao.
Services: 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, 1984 in the Murdock Chapel in Marion, Iowa. Conduced by: Nick Gong with interment at 2 p.m. Thursday, in Wyuka Cemetery, Nebraska City, Nebraska.

Family will receive after 7:00 Tuesday.....memorial fund has been established....
