Funeral services are pending at Brant Funeral Home for William LeRoy Doty, 88, 10th Street, S. W., Oelwein. He was a retired Chicago Great Western welder. He had been a resident of the community 58 years.

Survivors include his wife, Maude Doty; two sons, Clifford Doty, Waterloo, Beryl Doty, Oelwein; three daughters, Mrs. Wayne (Edith) Miller, Mrs. Ila Garrison, both of Oelwein, Mrs. Lloyd (Iona) Reise, Menlo Park, California and eight grandchildren.

Doty was a member of the First Baptist church and Loyal Order of the Moose.
