Word has been received by relatives here of the death of Mrs. Carroll A. Beebe of Arlington, Virginia, sister of Mrs. Lester Boots, Friday at her home. The body will arrive in Oelwein Sunday night and funeral services will conducted by the Rev. James W. Martin Tuesday at 2 pm at the Hintz Funeral Home.

The former Erva Morris of Oelwein was graduated from high school her in 1916, attended Iowa State Teachers College and the University of Minnesota and received her B. A. degree from Upper Iowa University. She taught for several years in Oelwein, first at Parkside, then at Central and later was music and English instructor in the Junior High school.

She was married to Carroll A. Beebe in Des Moines, and there they lived for six years before moving to Arlington, Virginia.

Mrs. Beebe was preceded in death by her father, Charles Livesey who died when she was a young child; by her mother, Mrs. Ella Livesay Morris May 3, 1931 and her step-father, Walter M. Morris December 25, 1937.

Surviving besides her husband and her sister, who had been with her the last two months, are two nieces, Lynn Marie and Carolynn Boots and a step-daughter, Mrs. Marian Bussman of St. Paul, Minnesota.

A livelong member of the Methodist church, Mrs. Beebe for many years was director of religious education at Grace Methodist here and at her death was member of Calvary Methodist church in Arlington and vice president of its W. S. C. S.
