Sgt. Floyd L. McDuffee (1894-1918)

J. R. McDuffee received a cable message Saturday night that his son, Sgt. Floyd L. McDuffee died in France October 19. The cause of his death was pneumonia. The young man is well remembered here. He enlisted in Anamosa, May 26, 1918 and arrived in France August 26. Floyd is another Oelwein boy to make the supreme sacrafice and to his family is tendered the deep sympathy of friends in the city.
