Dollie Conklin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Heath, was born on a farm near Oelwein January 4, 1890. At the age of four the family moved to Oelwein.

On July 17, 1909 she was married to Charles Quinting. They had two children, Eva Borland of Oelwein and Helen Borchers of Yuma, Arizona. In 1921 she was married to John Conklin.

Mrs. Conklin, who had been in failing health for more than a year, had been bedfast since October. She died April 18 at the age of 59 years.

Besides her two daughters, she is survived by four grandchildren, one brother and two sisters.

Funeral services were held on April 21 at the First Church of Christ with Rev. R. LaVerne Ervin officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn cemetery.
