Last rites for Mrs. Charles (Mildred) Scott, 44, will be held at 2:30 pm Sunday, March 18 at the Presbyterian Church. Dr. L. W. Hauter will officiate. Burial is to be in Woodlawn cemetery.

Mrs. Scott died at 5:20 pm March 15 at the home of her mother and father.

She is survived by her husband, at 419 First Street, N. E.; a son Charles Robert Scott of Oelwein; two granddaughters; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Brownell, and a brother Paul Brownell, all of Oelwein.

Mrs. Scott was born in Oelwein June 21, 1906, the daughter of William H. and Alice Bell Brownell. On September 26, 1924, she became the bride of Charles Scott. She was lifelong resident of Oelwein.
