Mrs. Sarah Wood died last evening at 7:30 after an illness of a week. She contracted a cold and pneumonia set in resulting in her death. She had been a resident of Iowa since 1852, coming to the state from New York City. For the past twenty-five years she has resided in Fayette county. She was the wife of Joseph Wood who died some years ago. She was nearly 91 years of age. The funeral will occur Thursday at 9 am from the Episcopal church in this city, of which she was a member, conducted by Rev. C. G. Adams. Interment in Taylorville cemetery by the side of her late husband.
