Daniel T. Shader was born in Duchess county, New York, 82 years ago on the 8th of next September, and the funeral services were held at the home residence near Otsego last Sunday afternoon, Rev. Conybeare, of the Presbyterian church officiating. He was married 55 years ago in Wyoming county, New York, to Miss Ellwell, who lives to mourn his loss. He came to Iowa forty years ago, settling in Fayette, where he lived nineteen years when they removed to this vicinity. Only two of the children, living, reside in this vicinity. There was a large attendance at the funeral services.
