Benjamin Little, who some time nine years ago, was a resident here, was brought here for burial Tuesday, by his sons, L. B. Little and D. E. Little. Little was born in New York in 1820, and when a boy went to Canada, where he subsequently married. He removed to Illinois in 1851; to Jackson County, Iowa in 1853; thence to Buchanan, Black Hawk and Fayette Counties respectively. His wife died about ten years ago, and she and one daughter are buried here. Awhile after his wife's death Mr. Little went to Red Cloud, Nebraska to reside with his daughter, where he died January 24th. He leaves two sons and a daughter. L. A. Little who resides near New Hartfard, Iowa, D. E. Little, Nashua, Iowa and Mrs. H. M. Tripp, of Red Cloud, Nebraska. Mr. Little was a devoted Christian having joined the Baptist Church at Waterloo some 16 years ago.
