The body of W. F. Munger, of whose death we made mention of last week, arrived here last Saturday and funeral services were held Monday at Oran, Rev. W. W. Carlton preaching the funeral sermon. Mr. Munger was 24 years old, and went to Dakota only last July. He had rented a farm which he intended to work next summer. He had gone to a well about eighty rods from the house, with his team hitched to a stone-boat, for a load of water, when the storm overtook him. Appearances indicated that he had very nearly reached home, as the stone-boat was found but a little way from the stable. Becoming bewildered by the storm he lost his way and wandered about until he accidently came upon a hay stack near a neighbor's house, and crawled under the hay, where he was found frozen to death. One of his horses reached home, and the other one has not been found. The deceased had many friends in the vicinity of Oran, who lament his death and sympathize with the breaved relatives.
