Funeral services for Jeanne E. Holtzman, 69, of Fayette will be held today (Wednesday) at 11 a.m. at Becker-Milnes Funeral Chapel in Fayette. The Rev. Howard Mace will officiate.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery with Sandy Nordahl, Tony Coker, Nick Helgerson, Robert Holtzman, Mervin Thomas and Steve Bergen as casket bearers.

Becker-Milnes Funeral Home, Fayette, is handling the arrangements.

Jeanne's death from cancer occurred Sunday, Jan. 6, 2008, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo.

Jeanne Evelyn Holtzman, daughter of Guy E. and Goldie (Monroe) Holtzman, was born Feb. 1, 1938, on the family farm north of Fayette.

She graduated from Fayette High School in 1956.

Jeanne lived with her twin sister, Joanne, on the family farm, where they raised and cared for many animals.

Preceding Jeanne in death were her parents and two brothers, Milford and Ronald Holtzman.

Survivors include three sisters, Maxine Hicks of Evansdale, Eileen Yager of Dubuque, and Joanne Holtzman of Fayette; a brother, Wayne (Mary) Holtzman of Waterloo; several nieces and nephews.
