P. D. Sprague, formerly of this locality, died in Butte City, Montana, February 7th, of apoplexy. The remains arrived in this city today and the funeral will occur from the Presbyterian church tomorrow at 2 p.m., Rev. J. M. Wilson officiating. Interment in Otsego cemetery. He has been in the west about twenty years, and was 46 years of age. He was proprietor of a hack line in Butte, and was a member of the International Hackmens Union. His father, three brothers and three sisters are residents of this section. The funeral will be held under the auspices of the Mac cabees, of which order he was a member. He left a wife and son who accompanied the remains from Butte City to Oelwein.
